What is it that Ahmedinejad is planning for the 22nd of August?
Princeton's Bernard Lewis writes: "There is a radical difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments with nuclear weapons. This difference is expressed in what can only be described as the apocalyptic worldview of Iran's present rulers." "In Islam as in Judaism and Christianity, there are certain beliefs concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time -- Gog and Magog, anti-Christ, Armageddon, and for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of the Hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces of good over evil, however these may be defined." President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "and his followers clearly believe that this time is now, and that the terminal struggle has already begun and is indeed well advanced. It may even have a date, indicated by several references by the Iranian president to giving his final answer to the US about nuclear development by Aug. 22," which this year corresponds "to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to 'the farthest mosque,' usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1)."This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind."Iran may already have nuclear weapons, it may be planning to nuke Israel, or perhaps American bases in Iraq, perhaps both!
Perhaps he has some European cities in mind as well???

The 22nd may be the day when Iran tests its first bomb, imagine all the worlds press invited to record Iran's first test, this would be Ahmedinejad's wet dream come true, his ultimate 'answer' to America. This would also start a chain of events the outcome of which we could not be certain of, what would America do, if anything? What would Israel do? We KNOW France, Germany and the UN would do nothing, Russia and China would continue to profit from Iran, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez has already blurted out that he wants nukes as well, if nothing is done, then we could see a dozen or so countries in the next decade go nuclear, do we want that?
Consider that Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Egypt and Indonesia could be amongst those newly nuclear nations, Japan and Australia could be among some responsible nations that go nuclear in response!
Were the foiled plots to attack the trans Atlantic route part of this response?
It is hard to know, but it all seems overly coincidental, Iran is at the centre of this 'web of wickedness', it is inciting the continuing uprisings in Iraq and Afghanistan, it funds and succours Hizbollah and Hamas, Syria is it's vassal, Pakistan is funneling intelligence and nuclear technology over the border, Iran has ties to an increasingly totalitarian Russia which is sending Iran the bulk of it's uranium, Iranian observers were present when North Korea launched their test missiles over the Sea of Japan on the 4th of July.
Was Iran also involved in the trans Atlantic plot?
It would not surprise me, as I have said, Iran is the centre of this thing, Iran needs to be taken out, and very soon!
