CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy (AP)—Pope Benedict XVI said Sunday that he was "deeply sorry" about the angry reaction to his recent remarks about Islam, which he said came from a text that didn't reflect his personal opinion.
"These (words) were in fact a quotation from a Medieval text which do not in any way express my personal thought," Benedict told pilgrims at his summer palace outside Rome.
Ok, so why use this medieval text, when you must know that everyone is going to react just as they did?
You must have known the Muslims would riot, kill and froth at the mouth, you must also have have known many would cheer you for your bravery and doing what us little people would just love to do given half a chance?
Why then have you retreated? Fear? Did it get a little to out of hand to quickly? Do you genuinely think Islam is something to be honoured? Do you disagree with the Emperor that you quoted?
I am sick to death of all our leaders being pussies, I'm sick of listening to big girl's blowses never saying what we all want them to say, never speaking the truth, always skirting it and never denouncing evil. Where are the real men who can lead us?

"Where are the real men who can lead us?"
Buried under a pile of feminism, pc bullshit, rotten academic moral relativity.
The real men will appear when it's almost too late and they'll be a murderous tide that will transform the face of Europe almost overnight.
Too late then for the appeasers to whine about violence. And too late for them to regret giving away a civilisation.
